Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the Quantu - AI Agents mobile application (iOS and Android) collects, uses, and protects your information. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Quantu - AI Agents is a decentralized AI agents platform that allows you to create, share, and chat with personalized AI agents. The App is designed with a privacy-first architecture, keeping your data local and under your control.
Data We Collect and Process
Data stored locally on your device
- Wallet data (BIP39 seed phrase, private keys) - encrypted with platform-native secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Never sent to our servers.
- Conversations with your AI agents - stored locally on your device.
- Agent configurations - instructions, knowledge bases, and settings you create.
- Vector embeddings - computed on-device for semantic search. No indexing data leaves your device.
- Preferences and settings (language, theme, toggles).
Data from your explicit actions
- Voice input - captured only when you tap the microphone button to use voice-to-text.
- Photos and images - accessed only when you choose to attach images or use the camera.
- QR code scans - used only for importing agents via QR code.

To provide the features you request, the App connects to these third-party services:

Device Permissions
The App requests only the permissions necessary for features you choose to use:

All permissions are used only when you explicitly trigger the relevant feature. We do not access your camera, microphone, or photos in the background.
Wallet Security
- BIP39 standard: 12-word seed phrase for Solana HD wallet derivation.
- Ed25519 signatures: Industry-standard cryptographic signatures.
- AES-256-GCM encryption: Keys encrypted before storage.
- PBKDF2 with 600,000 iterations: Strong password-based key derivation for passcode protection.
- Platform-native secure storage: iOS Keychain / Android Keystore.
- Zero-knowledge signing: Private keys are never exported or transmitted.
- Session auto-lock: Sensitive data cleared from memory when app goes to background.
Encryption and Privacy
- End-to-end encryption: Agent data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being uploaded to IPFS.
- On-device embeddings: Vector embeddings for semantic search are computed locally. No indexing data is sent to external servers.
- No analytics or tracking: We do not use any analytics SDKs or tracking technologies.
- No advertising: The App contains no ads and does not share data with advertisers.
Decentralized Storage (IPFS)
- When you publish an agent online, the encrypted data is stored on IPFS via Storacha.
- Immutability: IPFS content is immutable by design. Once published, data cannot be modified (only new versions can be published).
- User-controlled encryption: Only users with your encryption keys can decrypt your agent data.
- IPNS for updates: Public IPNS names allow agent discovery and updates (opt-in when you share an agent).
Future Features Disclosure
We are planning the following features for future versions:
- NFT minting: Each agent will be mintable as an NFT for verifiable ownership proof.
- DeFi-8004 integration: Access to DeFi-8004 protocol features and 8004market trading platform.
Important: All cryptocurrency transactions will occur outside the app via external wallet applications, in compliance with Apple App Store guidelines (3.1.1). The current version of the app does not process any financial transactions.
Data Retention
- Local data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- IPFS data: Immutable by design (disclosed to users before publishing).
- Audio files: Temporarily uploaded for transcription, then deleted immediately after processing.
- Server-side storage: We do not store your conversations on our servers.
Your Rights
- Access and deletion: Manage all local data directly on your device through the app settings.
- Wallet backup: Export your encrypted wallet backup at any time.
- Data portability: Your agents and data can be exported and used elsewhere.
- Server-side requests: For any server-side data (e.g., submitted reports), contact us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or process data from minors.
International Transfers
- Legal bases: Contract (service provision), legitimate interests (security, quality), and consent where required.
- If processing occurs outside your jurisdiction, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) when required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you of significant changes via the App or our website.
